How to Make AI Write in Your Voice (Not the Robot Voice)

You paste your notes into ChatGPT. You ask it to write the post. And what comes back sounds like a robot in a suit.

It is not wrong. It just is not you.

So you spend an hour rewriting it. Or you do not post at all. Today I want to show you how to fix that for good. How to make AI write in your exact voice. So everything you put out sounds like you actually said it.

And if you are wondering who is this guy, fair question. I run an AI automation business. I write a lot. Scripts, ads, emails, posts. I do not write most of it from scratch anymore. AI does the first pass, but it comes out sounding like me. Because I built it to. And I have done the same for the people I work with.

Everyone got the same AI, so everyone sounds the same

So here is what is happening right now. Everyone got the same AI. So everyone's content started sounding the same.

That flat, smooth voice. The one that opens with in today's fast paced world. You smell it in two seconds. And the second you smell it, you scroll.

So that is a real problem. Because your voice was your edge. The way you explain things. Your words. Your rhythm. That is the one thing a competitor cannot copy. And AI cannot fake it either. Unless you teach it.

Everyone using the same AI so all their posts come out reading the same flat way

So most people feel stuck. Write everything by hand and stay slow. Or use AI and sound like everyone else. You should not have to pick.

Why the normal fixes do not work

You have tried to fix this. Most people try the same three things. None of them work, and it is always for the same reason.

You try What it promises Why it does not fix it
Say "sound human" A warmer, less stiff draft It gets less stiff for one line, then drifts right back. Casual is the AI's idea of casual, not your voice.
A giant style prompt Rules that pin your style down It half works and it is a pain to paste every time. It is a checklist pretending to be you.
Hire a copywriter Someone who learns your voice Slow and expensive. And the day they leave, your voice leaves with them.
Feed it your words AI that writes like you It works. You show it, you do not describe it. This is the fix.

One. You tell it to sound human or be casual. It gets a little less stiff for one paragraph. Then it drifts right back. Because casual is not your voice. It is the AI's idea of casual. You cannot put your own rhythm into a sentence.

Two. You write a giant style prompt. Use short sentences, be witty, no jargon. You paste it every single time. It half works, it is annoying, and it still is not you. It is a checklist pretending to be you.

Three. You hire a copywriter. A good one gets close after a few months. But it is slow. It is expensive. And the second they leave, your voice leaves with them.

So the reason all three fail is the same. They all try to describe your voice. You cannot describe a voice. You can only show it.

The fix: do not describe your voice, feed it

So here is the move. Instead of telling the AI how you sound, you show it.

You feed it a bunch of stuff you already wrote or said. Old posts. Emails. A call recording. It reads how you actually talk. Then it builds a profile of your voice. After that, any draft you give it, it rewrites in that voice.

Dropping your old posts and a call recording into AI, and a voice profile coming out

And you save it. So you are not re-explaining yourself every time. You get a you button. You write everything through it.

The before and after (this is the whole thing)

So let me show you the gap. Same message, two ways.

Here is a post ChatGPT wrote cold. In today's competitive landscape, leveraging automation is a game changer for scaling your business efficiently. Corporate. Dead. Not me.

Now I run that same thing through my voice. Look, most people waste hours on stuff a robot could do. So automate it. Now you get your time back and the business still runs. Same point. My rhythm. My words. I would post that.

So that gap right there is the whole thing. Left is everyone. Right is you.

And it is not a one off. Give it an email, it comes out as you. Give it an ad, same thing. Give it a hook, same thing. Every one comes out in your voice in seconds. That is writing at AI speed without sounding like AI.

It works for every client too

So here is the part that matters if you write for other people.

I swap my samples for a client's posts. Now it writes in their voice, not mine. One tool. Every client sounds like a real person. Not a robot.

Swapping your own writing samples for a client's, so it now writes in their voice

So you are not stuck picking one style for everyone. You keep a voice for you. And a voice for each person you write for. All from their own words.

A real example

One of my clients just finished a discovery call. He sent me the recording and asked me to write the follow up PDF for that lead. I had all his calls, so I had his voice. I wrote the whole thing the way he actually talks. He sent it, and he closed the deal. It made him more than 15k.

I am not saying the voice alone did it. But when something sounds like you, people feel it. They think you spent real time on them. And that is what closes.

Here is how you build it, free

Now the best part. I am giving you the whole thing, free.

You do not need to be technical. You clone one folder. You paste one prompt. And your own AI builds your voice from your writing.

Prefer to watch me build it live? Here is the full video: https://youtu.be/OawauTXi9Hs

First, clone it:

git clone https://github.com/qemoza/sound-like-you

Then open the folder in Claude Code and paste this:

You are building my personal "voice" writer in THIS folder. Go ONE step at a
time, don't skip the checks. At the end, I must be able to paste ANY draft and
get it back rewritten so it sounds like ME, not generic AI.

Step 1: collect my voice. Tell me exactly what to give you (10-20 samples: my
posts, emails, or a call transcript is even better) and where to drop them in
this folder. Wait for me to add them, then confirm how many you found.

Step 2: learn my voice. Read all my samples and write a VOICE PROFILE: my
common words, sentence length, rhythm, what I do and don't sound like. Show it
to me so I can correct anything that's off.

Step 3: the rewrite tool. Give me one simple way to paste any draft and get it
back in my voice, using the profile. Show it working: take a plain, robotic
paragraph and rewrite it as me.

Step 4: prove it (don't skip). Rewrite three different things in my voice: a
short post, an email, and an ad hook. Show me each one. It should sound like me,
not like ChatGPT. Then show me how to make a SECOND profile for a client from
their samples.

So that is it. It takes your own words. It learns how you sound. And it gives you a button that rewrites anything as you. Plus one for each client.

Clone the folder, paste one prompt, and your own AI builds your voice writer

You do not have to choose

So you do not have to pick between fast and sounding like yourself.

Your voice already exists. It is in everything you have already written. You feed it in once. And now AI works at your speed without stealing your voice.

So that is the kind of thing I build. Using AI to sound more like you, not less.

FAQ

Why does my AI writing sound like a robot? Because everyone is using the same AI, so it pulls everyone toward the same flat, corporate style. It does not know your voice. It only knows the average of everything it read. So your posts come out sounding like everyone else's.

Can you just tell ChatGPT to sound more human? A little, for one paragraph. Then it drifts back. Sound human means the AI's idea of casual, not your actual voice. You cannot describe your own rhythm in a sentence, so telling it never sticks.

How do you make AI write in your voice? You do not describe your voice. You feed it. You give the AI a batch of things you already wrote or said, like old posts, emails, or a call recording. It reads how you talk and builds a voice profile. Then it rewrites any draft in that voice.

Do I need to be technical to build this? No. You clone one folder and paste one prompt. Your own AI walks you through the rest, one step at a time. You just hand it your writing samples when it asks.

Does this work for clients too? Yes. You swap your samples for a client's posts, and it writes in their voice instead of yours. One tool, a separate voice for every person you write for.
